Next Chapter Mates was born from friendship, lived experience, and the belief that no bloke should have to go through life’s toughest chapters alone.

We’ve known each other for more than 30 years - mates since we first crossed paths on the basketball court. Over the years, that connection grew into a close circle of friends who have stuck by each other through life’s highs and lows.

Like many men, we’ve both faced separation at different times in our lives. We know the strain it can put on your head, your heart, and your role as a dad. Having kids ourselves, we also understand how much you want to show up for them while trying to work out who you are again.

What got us through wasn’t just resilience - it was mateship. Having someone who “gets it,” someone who listens without judgment and reminds you you’re not on your own, made all the difference.

That’s why we started Next Chapter Mates. It’s a safe and supportive space where blokes can connect, share, and to be honest take the piss out of each other. We won’t always be PG or PC, and we love to have a laugh along the way - because humour can be just as healing as honesty. You’ll also see a few of our close mates pop in from time to time for a cameo, adding their voices and stories to the mix.

For us, it’s simple: mateship matters. And together, we’re stronger.
